Hi,

frame with equipment inside has center of gravity of the middle of frame.
How to give proper info to cosmos fith forces (weights) to simulate center of gravity same as equipment is on the skid.

regards zoran

You can model a simple block that is mounting to the frame. If you are using shells model a cube and give the face thicknesses a general value like 1 inch. Then adjust the density of the material to make the total weight match that of the components at the cg.

Hi Boggs,

yes, I did that and found center of gravity.
But now I want to do meshing and to apply forces. Skid is made from I beams on the bottom. Since I can not mesh pumps and tanks, I want to apply forces on I beams. How to add forces to I beams and keep same center of gravity.
I am talking about two tanks inside the skid, 2 pumps on 1 tank on top, 1 mixer, few electrical cabinets and it is difficult to keep cg same as it was with simulation of pieces of equipment.
regards zoran
