Hi!

There are parts in our Teamcenter Engineering database, which shows an Internal Error when we are trying to open the NX Part Navigator.
What we can see is, that via function Copy Feature there are some Arc Radius Measurement features - but we have no idea how to delete them.

Has somebody therefore a tip for us?

Thanks a lot!

Have you tried running...

File -> Utilities -> Part Cleanup...

...on this part file?

If that doesn't work then your only course action will be to contact GTAC and have them look at the file and see if they can correct or delete the offending object(s).

I've tried this before - but this causes also an Internal Error.

Is there a possibility via jounral, grip, user function or something to delete all features in a part file?

Can you screendump an error message ?

Can you look in the NX logfile ( help - NX logfile) after the crash has occured and do a search for "+++" , try look for "readable" messages somewhere around the +++.

Can you open the file to view it, but it errors when you open the part navigator? If so, something worth trying would be to export the solid to a new part file. If the measurement features have no child features they should not show up in the new file; if they do have child features, well this trick won't help so much.

Thank you ver much for the information. But the problem is, that tehse parts are assembly parts - so there are no solids.
