Does anyone have suggestions about what kind of paint would be useful to avoid dezincification of C360 grade brass in acidified salt spray environment?
Thanks

Try an epoxy coating, and contact a vendor for specific recommendation.

Brass, being a zinc alloy, may be subject to the same coating problems as HDG. Some coatings form a zinc 'soap' that prevents a proper bonding. Just a guess, but, you might check it out with a coating supplier.

Does the environment also have a component of exposure to ultraviolet radiation? If not, then I agree with suggestion of epoxy coating. If so, then you will need to evaluate some different coatings, because epoxies are degraded by UV.

I often use a polyurethane top coat with epoxies...

Thanks Dik and TVP. That helps!
