correlation of flame pulsation and combustion dynamics

Did anyone know if there is a clear or positive relationship between flame intensity fluctuation and combustion dynamics? or dynamics is only related to certain wavelength of the combustion flame such as UV, visible light, infred?

How strong is the relationship? Thanks!

Any thoughts?
