I've got a long run of DeWalt screw bolts, attaching a roof diaphragm, that were incorrectly placed into hollow block instead of grouted cells. Would it be sufficient to pump in grout with the anchors in place, or would I need to call to have the anchors removed, cells grouted, and then the anchors reinstalled?

My gut feel is that if you are able to get well consolidated grout around the anchor you would end up with a better condition than a post-installed one.

I would probably confirm that gut feeling with a call to the product manufacturer for their take on the condition.

I doubt Dewalt would approve such installation, but you could try one and then do a pull test to see if it's even reasonable.

Could you get it to work with Epoxy anchors? Installing those has to be easier than grout filling all the blocks.
