Dear

I would like to know which Coriolis or Vortex flow meter is better for the steam fluid and why is the reason for that.

As I know vortex shedding flow meter is wildely used type
of oscillaotry flow meter. The frequency of the vortex is directly proportional to the velocity of the fluid flowing through the flow meter. And, it is becoming increasing more popular for measuring the flow of steam, liquid and gases.

Thank you very much for your kindly help.

Depends on how hot your steam is.

LP steam could probably be measured using a Coriolis meter, although whether LP steam has sufficient inherent value to need that accuracy of measurement is a different question.

HP steam will exceed the pressure and temperature capabilities of a Coriolis meter because Coriolis meters need relatively thin-walled tubes with a curved shape to operate; HP steam requires heavy-walled pipe.

Hey, never mind that. What about my reply! [wink]
