Copying sketches

I have a sketch that I'd like to copy and rotate to several new positions, but when I try to copy and paste it, it loses all of it's relations. Is there another way to accomplish this, or a way to maintain the relations of the sketch when I copy/paste it, or is there a better way to do it besides copy/paste?

Fully dimension the sketch except for any relation to the origin. Then it should be able to be copied & rotated.

Also SW06 has improved "sketch block" functionality which would probably help you.

Can you put it into a Library Feature? That would work, especially if the sketch has references outside of it's own geometry.

If you select all geometry then Ctrl-drag, it will copy in same sketch. Also, I think if you create new sketch, then Ctrl-drag from feature mngr to surface/plane, it will copy.

Thanks all, but I think that I found the way. I've discovered the "derived sketch". I can select the sketch that I need to move, control select the surface or plane where I want to put it and make it a derived sketch in the insert pull down menu. The derived sketch allows me to add relations to it, plus when I make changes to the original sketch, they are reflected in the derived sketch.
