Hi all,

I have a question about SW Explorer:

Is it possible to copy an assembly and all of it's childrens and keep the same file structure?

I Can't find any options concering that but when I copy assemblies, it usually keeps the file structure, but sometimes not.

Thank you.

Hello,

SW Explorer should always keep the same file structure when you copy an assembly, by default.

Please ensure that you Browse for both the:

1)Copy to Folder for the assembly
2) and the Copy Children Folder as well

Cheers,

Joseph

I found what the problem is:

If all the linked components of the assembly are in the same folder (or subfolder) of the main assembly, then it will copy the file structure.

If some of the parts of the assembly are in completly different folders, than it will copy everything in one folder only.

I think its a bug, I'll ask SW about it.
(I know its not very clear, if anyone wants more info, just ask...)
