Copy settings wizard has boxes grayed out?

Hello all,

I am the SW admin for our group of designers.

I installed SW 2007 on a summer students computer and went to copy my settings to his. To my surprise, the options to check are greyed out on his computer
keyboard shortcuts
menu customization
system options
toolbar customization

I can't select any of them. Any idea what could be causing this? The only thing I can think of is maybe he is not an administrator on the computer? I am not sure if that even matters.

Matt,

If while saving the setting file, those options were not selected, they would be greyed out when attempting to restore them to another computer.

Or it could be a completely different issue like having no admin rights as you mentioned

Admin rights are definitely needed, as the Copy Settings Wizard is accessing the Registry, and creating an executable which when activated will re-write a portion of the Registry.
