Does anyone know how to copy my settings to the new version of ACAD.

I know how to copy my settings from one computer to another, but how to translate that to the new version of ACAD.

Is there any chance to do that?

I need this, because I have a lot of my personal commands that I made. They are very usefull for me, and I spent a lot of time to make them. So it would be great if I don't have to make them all over again

ercegs,

I don't remember how to export the settings of Autocad R14.

need more details,

which versions of Acad, from & to?

what kind of commands?
lsp, arx, marco?

depending on versions, you may only want to "copy" certain routines

Intel P4 3.0 GHZ
512 DDRAM
Win 2000 Pro
Autocad 14, 2002 with EP 2.3.1
Autocad 2008

I'm exporting from 2007 to 2009. I have a couple of toolbars containing both lsp & macro commands.

leave 2007 on machine, install 2009

2009 will detect 2007 customization and prompt you to use these settings for the new 2009 install

some older commands may not work, see if old command has been replaced with New

double check support paths on new install

Intel P4 3.0 GHZ
512 DDRAM
Win 2000 Pro
Autocad 14, 2002 with EP 2.3.1
Autocad 2008

I have already heard about method that OZZY84 said. I'll try that today.

Thank you.

I managed to adjust acad 2009, but some problem appeared. I would appreciate if someone have a solution.

I have a problem with object snap toolbar...check the attach to see how it looks like when I turn it on?

Is that normal maybe?

Thanks
