Hi

I am sorry if i am posted this question in wrong place.

is there anyway in teamcenter i can copy co-ordinates of component(which is positioned) from one assembly and paste it to same component in another assembly so that in 2nd assembly its positioned in its place

Thanks

If you run information -> object on a component, it will report the component positioning info. This can be used to position a component in a different assembly.

There is a journal in the thread above that will "record" and "reset" the position of a component (in a single assembly); with some tweaks, it might be useful in your situation.

Can we copy and paste the information on other components.

I guess I don't have access using journals in my company
