Can you Copy and Paste, more specifically Copy with Base Point such as in ACAD?

In sketches...

When i copy and paste, it always returns to the original position and "over lays" on the other geometry.

Hi,

no, copy with base point is not available in SE. The only
item that can be brought in with base point is a symbol
or a feature (Symbol-Lib/Feature-Lib) it will follow the
mouse during placement until 'clicked'

Use the "move" function. Just make sure that the copy tab in the ribbon bar is activated. The same applies for "rotate", "mirror" and "scale".

When you've pasted the elements they will still be selected (highlighted) - use the move command now.
