Is COPEN command possible to be assigned in CAE or just by using keywords?

COPEN is an Abaqus/Standard contact variable. If you request CDISP in CAE you should get both COPEN and CSLIP.

I am watching the Abaqus Manual daily, for many different things! But I suppose I have skipped this.

But why you can't just help normally instead of nagging always!

Apologies, if I was mistaken.

But I did check the Abaqus/Explicit Output Variable Index in the Abaqus Analysis User's Manual and couldn't find COPEN or CDISP.

Had another look and still dont see it. Is this variable named differently in A/Explicit?

I have tried now to assign it and it is not possible although it is written in the Manual (“Surface output in Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Explicit” in “Output to the output database,” Section 4.1.3) it can't be applied for general contact. I have tried to use Interaction domain in field output and it doesn't offer me the general contact interaction as a option to choose. I am talking about CAE, and it is written it is possible in CAE.

Use Domain=Whole Model.
And be aware that the default tracking thickness is very small, but can be modified. See the v2016 Release Notes.

When I use Domain=Whole Model, there is no option for CDISP just CSTRESS, CFORCE, CTHICK ...

I have just upgraded and it works! Thanks for the help! It is nice they have added this! I would like to suggest them couple of other simple things to add them too. Maybe they will in the next version.
