Hi,

I understand that the EPA has recently approved or is currently reviewing new regulations on cooling water intake screen requirements, Sec. 316(b). I am hoping that someone can provide me with a direct internet link to the regulations. Information pertaining to appropriate screen location, orientation, size etc. would be advantageous to me. I must admit I’m having trouble navigating on the EPA’s web page and wading through the appropriate dockets.

I am currently reviewing a large cooling water intake and would like to review this proposal against the most recent regulations (the U.S. environmental regulations are way ahead of Canada’s). If you could provide me with the information it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
"The Shark"

Check either 40 CFR Part 125 Subpart I (found at 40 CFR 125.80 through 12.589) or 66 FR 65338 (12/18/01 federal reg)
