joshposh,
If you have a PostScript printer, look into GhostScript. Most and possibly all laser printers are PostScript. GhostScript is Free Software orignally written on UNIX to convert PostScript to whatever the printer understands. PostScript on a nine-pin dot matrix? Wheee!
It converts to PDF. The GUI extension to GhostScript is called GhostView, and it is available for Windows.
Select print. Select your PostScript printer. Select Print to file. Change the filename to something with a .ps or.eps extension. Print. Load the PostScript file into GhostView. Select convert, and select pdfwrite.
The latest version of Windows GhostView is nagware. Earler versions are not, and they work fine.
This is not absolutely convenient, but it gets the job done.
