As per IEC the maximum allowable dew point of SF6 in GIS chamber is -5degree at rated filling pressure at 20 degree C
The measured value of dewpoint of SF6 in a GIS compartment is (instrument used is MBW 973) :
Dew Point at vessel pressure =0.4 degree
Gas pressure relative = 6.23 bar (this is the pressure shown in the instrument which is not temperature compensated. The GDM in GIS chamber was showing rated filling pressure of 5.8 bar – temperature compensated gauge)
ppmv= 892.1
Temperature of the enclosure = 34.4 deg C (this is temperature measured on the enclosure)
How can we convert this dew point value to temperature 20degree C at rated pressure (rated filling pressure being 5.8 bar at 20 degree C)
This is to check if the measured value is within limits as specified by IEC
Thanks in advance
