Converting entities error

Has anyone seen this before?
I created a new sketch and converted entities from another. When I extrude-cut, I get the error that there are open geometries. OK, easy fix.
But, when I fix, each line one at a time after each fix, gets another line copied on top of it! uuuuugh![banghead][hairpull3]
I delete the line, redraw it. Then does it again with another line!
Must be a bug. I have never had this problem before.
Have you guys come across this? If so, is there a bug or a fix?
Thanks.

I had something like that before, but I thought it could just be me having a bad SW day.

I closed SW and reopened finally, out of frustration and eventually got it to work. I also deleted the offending sketch first.

I can't reproduce what you are seeing. I know you can't access MooLoad, but can you post the file somewhere else?

BL,
I fix it by redrawing the lines.
If I see it again I will post for you.
I have to go to a mtg for a few hours.
Thanks.

I've had this happen a few times, once this week in fact. Seems random, at least I couldn't figure out what caused it, or get it to reoccur on purpose.

What I do is go around the sketch and delete each line. Sometimes there's two, sometimes three, sometimes only one line (seems random). Pick each line and delete it until the final one disappears. Undo (Cntrl Z), so the last line reappears. Go completely around the sketch, then the feature works. This ensures you only have 1 line for each segment, and doesn't recreate the problem like deleting and redrawing the lines does.

Just a normal day with SolidQuirks.

I have done that, but what's wierd is the lines come back!
I have found out that if I go to the original sketch where the converted entities came from, then change the line to construction lines, the convert entities sketch gets more lines added.
I think it's a bug. I'm going to send it in.
Thanks ongybill.

sometimes it's a line on top of a line... I always find that to be the problem.

Happens alot when you import data from DXF/DWG.

Yes, I have seen that with DXF. But this was a new sketch I created, then another sketch converting entities from the first ... all in the same part.
