Converting conical part to sheet metal with NX8.5

Hi
I need little help with weird conical part what should be converted to sheet metal part so I could make drawings and flat pattern drawing from it? any ideas how to do it? I have been trying to do that but nothing seems to work.

You should be able to use the Unwrap function for that.
You really don't need any of the sheet metal functions.
 
Sadly wont work since part is't true cone ore cylinder
 
Hey,

I have a way, but it does not always work:
1. extract outside face,
2. cut narrow strip along join line (for example 0.5 mm),
3. extrude one edge tangent to conic face (0.4 mm) (as planar face),
4. sew faces
5. use Thickness
6. In Sheet Metal use Convert to Sheet Metal, as base face use small planar face.
7. Use Flat Solid.

If it's no clear I can create movie with this..
