Would anyone know how, or what utility to use, to convert Cadkey 7 files (prt format?) into any format that TurboCad could use?

I could convert them if you tell me what format you want.

I assume you don't have Keycreator...

Correct; I don't have Keycreator (how much does that cost?).

I figure that I need some sort of utility that I could load on the HD and use from there--my dad doesn't have internet capability.

You're sure these are Keycreator files? Pro/E also saves in a .prt extension. How many files? How big?

I'd Google it to see what's out there, keeping in mind that conversion software may not convert all geometry correctly.

You will need to contact your local Kubotek reseller to see how much the Keycreator software will cost.

They are Cadkey 7 files--so maybe several generations before Keycreator.

What would I google for? Keep in mind that I'n not an engineer.

Keycreator reads all legacy Cadkey files.

I'd Google something like ".prt file conversion". I would assume that Turbocad reads .dxf files which is a common Autocad file format, so look for something that would convert .prt to .dxf.

Again, I'd be happy to convert them for you to whatever file format you wish. We'd just have to figure out how to xmit them.
