Does anyone know how to convert entities at the intersection of complex surfaces, such as may be used within a 3D sketch? I'm not talking about edges, but about surfaces that continue through one another.

Sometimes creating surfaces is a good way to define spaces about which curves may orbit. I'd like to use these curves (converted entities) as sweep paths or perhaps even loft sections.

Any ideas?

YOu can create these entities by using the intersection curve command.

Under TOOLS/SKETCH TOOLS, select INTERSECTION CURVE.

select the surfaces that you wish to find the intersection of.. for each face, it will give you a 3d spline where they intersect

Hope that helps.
