Conversion of un-parametric model to parametric model in UG NX.

Dear All,

As per above mentioned subject,I am converting it by first extracting the curve and convert them to skectch,
but I feel that its not the right way. I'm using NX 7.5.
Could any one let me Know the exact way to convert un-parametric model to parametric model.

Why convert it when you can make changes with Synchronous Modeling and adding features?
I guess the real question is what is the end goal?

Previosly it was made with other CAD software, so now i want to make .prt file in UG NX as a parametric(Sketch based modeling).

Can you show a picture of the part?
There is no automatic way to make the part sketch based ~ you will need to redo it.
There is a way to add dimensions to features on the model that may do what you need - that is what joycejo is eluding to.

It really would be hard to give steps to do something without knowing what it is.
My best advice would be to investigate Syncronous Modeling to accomplish what you need,
or just remake the part with sketches.
