I believe they are different names for the same fastener. Visu-Lok being the more recent term used.

Mikef01...

'Jo-Bolts' were invented and first marketed by JO King. 'JO-bolt' is just the generic term for these style fasteners.

JOK Subsequently licensed the fastener line for manufacture by several companies [like H-Shear licensed manufacturing of Hi-Loks], most prominent is Monogram Aerospace fasteners... which makes its version Visu-Lok. There are also NAS versions. NOTE. Many of the original licencees have been gobbled-up by corporate giants that could survive industry down-turns.

There have been many advancements/improvements on the basic design concept, again with Monogram leading the pack.

NOTE.
the Radial-Lok is a high interference version of the JO-bolt concept... many years removed from first JO-bolt production.
