Dear all,

Can Any one suggest me any book on web or Link , where I can find all Basics for Designing Control valves, On- Off valves??

I want to make myself aware regarding all selection and basic parameters..I have gone through Emerson- Control valve Handbook
but still i want to know more. please suggest me any link or book on web.

Thank you in advance.

I'd go for Bela Liptak's "Instrument Engineer Handbook, Volume 2 - Process Ccontrol and Optimization". Liptak's series are considered classics.

Hard copies can be obtained for a little bit more than 200 USD

I published a peer reviewed paper in SPE Oil & Gas Facilities that might be helpful.

Please check following
1.Control Valve Primer - Hans Baumann -
2. Control Valve selection and sizing - Les Driskell
3. ISA handbook of control valves - Hutchison

I am sure with above 3 books you don't need anything else ..Ofcourse practical sizing experience can not be substituted by anything else...

Thanks to all for your guidance..
