Must Content central be populated maually or is the library supposed to come stacked with components? When I open it the only part that is there is one that I created using design accelerator?

That sounds like a great question for your Autodesk support people, because we can't tell what package you bought.

FWIW I have one version that is fully stocked, and another with a few bits and pieces in.

Cheers

IMO, don't bother. Every release seems to change the way the "Content Center" works, with the result that assemblies made from CC parts last year don't work this year, and you end up rebuilding huge swaths of stuff.

If you must use it, make certain you save all CC parts as local, project part files, i.e. break the links to the content center. It's a PITA, but it will keep your hair in place at the next upgrade.

Did u checked the libraries during the installation ??

i have Inventor2008 and it has for stock of libraries ..

It Is a network install, I wasn't allowed to make very many selections. I do not recall if that was one that was presented to me

Then u should ask the system administrator or who ever incharge of the Software... And also ask tht if in any PC libraries are installed .. u can get OEM parts to be generated then copied to ur computer..
