Contacts between shell geometries (from stl) unsing Adams View

I have to import STL files (in ascii format) in Adams and study contacts between them.
To generate the geometry files, I used both a mesher (Ansys) and a CAD software (Inventor) (the geometries are the same).
If I build the model using the stl geometries from the CAD, the simulation works properly. Instead, using the stl files from the mesher, Adams does not identify the contact.

Why does it happens? Is there some property that I have to set in during exportation/importation procedure?

Presumably if you do a file compare between the two ascii files you will find some differences.
