Hello,
I would like to get information about generating contact with ansys/ls-dyna. Is there any conflict when using NLGEOM and CEINTF?
thanks.

You're using CEINTF to create contact? Or contact elements are present in the model as well as CE's and large deflections. Neither of these should create any sort of conflict to my knowledge. Just be cognizant of the fact that your CE's will not yield the exact results you are hoping for unless they are applied to all DOF's at the interface. CE's are not valid in large rotation problems. When NLGEOM=ON the best way to create contact is to use contact elements and use the MPC Algorithm.

Good luck,

Hi Brian,
Thank you for you reply,
In fact, I'm using CEINTF and NLGEOM commands in my model, I'm generatinh also contact area. during calculation ANSYS/LS-DYNA deletes the constraint equations imposed by CEINTF. I think that there is a conflict between constraints imposed by CEINTF command and constraints inposed by contact area!
perhaps the solution is to use just one volume rather than 2 or 3 just to avoid the use of CEINTF command!
what do you think about that?
Lyes.
