Contact set For Dynamic Analysis???

HI everyone,
I need to create contact for two surfaces that are in contact.
I am using I-deas SDRC for this simulation.
I am able to create contact set in linear statics solving.
My question is ..Is it possible to create contact set during dynamic analyis(REsponse Dynamics ) in I-deas software.. If not Why?

Please clarify .. Thanks in Advance
