I am trying to perform a contact analyse, but I am a new one in this field. I have read a chapter about contact in ansys help and seen verification manual relative to contact analyse. I have tried to search for resources on the internet. But my model still doesnt give a reliable results... - seems that penetration is too high. According to ansys help contact stiffness should be increased...but when I increase the contact stiffness I obtain an error message, that this value is too high...
I also tried use LS-DYNA for this problem and establish contact according to "drop test of container" but obtained some error messages "Error segment set for contact interface"...
Long story in short: I really hate when I spend several days studying manuals, performing trial-and-error analyses with adjusting various settings and when there is still no reliable solution...I need to push foward a bit to recover my motivation. Please help!
