Hello all,
I am looking to impose a pressure load on two sides of a flat circle made of shell elements in Abaqus. This is done to model a manufacturing process for single ply composites. when one side of the composite comes in contact with another surface I would like the pressure BC on that side to be zero so that the pressure acting on the other side will clamp the composite to the surface.
How should I go about doing this. Should I use a user subroutine or is there a pre-loaded BC that I am overlooking? Has anyone done something similar to this before?
Thanks for your help,
Nick
