I want to perform FEA on a bracket for a top hung sliding door by modelling the weight of the door as two point loads where the bolts will be. The bracket will then be hanging from an axle (Shown in yellow) that is in turn connected to the wheel, but for simplicity I have been modelling the axles as fully fixed.

I imported the two parts separately and made the shaft and the bore as concentric as possible via translation. However I am unsure as how to assemble them so that it can be solved without getting excessive pivot ratios etc.

Can anyone lend me any guidance on how to constrain the bracket properly in order to obtain the correct results?

Many thanks,

Pete
