Hello,

Is there anyone who can tell me which customer default I need to change in Nx8.5 so that I can begin a new sketch, but constrain to an existing sketch? For a simple example: I have a square plate with a slot in it as my first sketch. I extrude a .5" thick solid from the sketch. I wish to now create a new sketch which will be a circle or "starter hole" for CNC programming purposes and constrain it to my slot sketch. I know I have been able to do this with Nx4.0 and I think Nx7.5. When I try this in Nx8.5 It will not pick up the existing slot sketch as something to constrain to.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

I think you can do it the same as in NX4.0 and NX7.5 but the way you select the constraints changed a bit in NX8.5
Also make sure that the pull-down shown in the attached picture is not set to Active Sketch Only
