Hi,

We are revamping our clean room areas. We have to monitor the pressures in the rooms and keep them within +/- 5 Pa. What is the preferred method: constant flow valves in in- and output ducts, or use a regulating valve in the outlet duct?

Kindest Regards,

Marco Bakker

Do you mean dampers? Actually modulating type dampers are better option but it all depends upon cost of investment and system response characteristics you required.

Constant flow dampers are cheaper option but they take time to stabilize once the pressure balancing gets disturbed.

Modulating control dampers should be controlled by a room pressure transmitter and position of the sensor inside the room is very critical.
