Console flushed into bulkhead

Can the console can be flush with the bulkhead without any maintenance issue (snapshot below)?

It's no different than setting it on a deck. Standoff is preferred to allow inspection of coatings but if the space is climate controlled corrosion should be a minimal issue.

Depending on what is inside the console (and the actual user specification) you might be required to provide interior access. This can be from the back, one or both ends, or even under the "shelf". For example - if the console contains a battery backup for something, you WILL need access to the interior of the console.
