Dear all,

Does anyone have any experience regarding the use of Clause 6.7.3 in ISO 13623, in particular the second bullet point which states: "Hydrotest test pressure shall be multiplied by: Tmin + CA / Tmin"

Although theoretically this seems fine as were testing an uncorroded pipe for its strength when fully corroded, it massively increases the required hydrotest test pressure. For example if we have a 6" pipeline with a Tmin of 3mm and corrosion of 3 mm we would need to double out hydrotest test pressure.
Any experiences with this part of ISO 13623 would be appreciated. Thanks
