Is there a way to have a CONN3D2 element that only works in tension ?

Hi,

Can you precise your question.
You want to have no element stiffness during compresion or during unloading phase of tension?

Bartosz

Hi akabarten,

I want to have no element stiffness during compression. Only during traction.

Thank you. Regards,

Martin

Hi,

Nonlinear elastic deinition is not enough for you?

As you can see compression resistance is set to very small value.
