Patterns, Configurations, and Design Tables, Oh my! I'm finding these extremely powerful abilities have left me with a problem, it appears "Instances to Skip" in a pattern are not controllable with configurations (and therefore not with a DT).
I am working on something that is best built with a 2-direction linear array. The spacing and number of instances vary betweeen configurations which are handled nicely in the DT. However, some configurations require skipping some of the "interior" instances. This is not configuration dependent as far as I can determine.
In order to accomplish my designs I am currently having to create different features, i.e., more features, and therefore the model is not as clean.
This looks like a good one for an enhancement request, but if some of you also request it (hint, hint) there is a greater chance of it getting some attention.
Have any of you found an elegant way to handle this? I am using SWX08, SP3.0
