I am replacing a 30+ year old proprietary control board on a sewage vacuum tank system. I am installing a PLC with 24v DC inputs. The system is basically a big steel tank with 5 probes (see photo) shoved in the side and insulated from the tank. I need to have a dry contact for each of 4 levels, as referenced to the 5th probe (the reference probe). I am considering using a pair of the P+F KFD2-ER-2.W.LB relays to interface the probes with the PLC. I only have a photo of the probes and no other information. Does anyone recognize the probes in the picture?

I don't recognize the probes, but why should the brand matter?

They're undoubtably made from some alloy that conducts a low voltage AC current, sufficient to work with the P&F relay module. Just wire each probe as the P&F sheet says and they should work.

Hi danw2...brand wasn't really a concern. The P+F folks wanted specs on the probes. As far as I know they are about as basic as you can get. I think things will work, as you say. Thanks!!

Why don't you ask them what specifically they're concerned about?
