Since the keyword search function is down, I couldn't find out if this is a repeat question, so I apologize if it is.
My question: Are there any references, websites, energy modeling studies that you can point me to where an analysis of whether condensing boilers with low temp heat recovery from water cooled chiller condensers is worth the added first cost of the boilers, the plate and frame heat exchanger, pumps and controls compared to a conventional non-condensing boiler setup with no heat recovery? Any feedback or personal experience in this type of analysis that you can share would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
