We are designing a Concrete Water Pedestal. We had an additional soil test done and we went from a design category C to a design category A. Can we use ASCE/SEI 7-05 11.7.2? This section states that for a design category A, use Fx = 0.01 wx. I am thinking 371R applies but I am asking for another opinion.
