How do you calculate the fire rating of a concrete slab on metal deck? My current situation is a 206mm concrete slab (normal weight concrete), however the metal deck takes up 76mm of that thickness. Additionally, we need to figure out an interpretation of the fire code for this slab in question. The slab is the transition between a parking level and ground level in a federal building. Would this be a two or three hour rating?
