Has anyone managed to find a way to simulate concrete? I believe it is available in COSMOSM with limited ability but has anyone found a work around in Solidworks sim?

Cheers

wouldn't know where to start, is there any good tutorials on COSMOS/M?

Tutorials, not that I know of. You have to know FEA in order to read the documentation. Cosmos/M is a throwback but it is powerful and capable.

Fortunately the menus are in logical order, Geometry, Properties, Mesh, Boundary Conditions, Run Setup, Post processing. The commands also follow a logical structure.

PT,1,0,0,0 puts a point 1 at 0,0,0
SF2LINE puts a surface between two lines.
R_STATIC runs a static analysis
M_SF puts a mesh on a surface
and so on.

For concrete there is a damage parameter that you have to obtain too. That can be a bit tricky.

Importing geometry is not always successful.
