I am doing some fill in and the way I have started this job it looks like by the time I get to the end of where I am filling in I will have about 60 to 80 feet of dirt filled in. My question is can I put that much fill dirt over a 24 inch concrete pipe or will I have problems down the road?

with class v pipe, you can go to about 60 feet of fill, depending on the type of soil and unit weight of the fill. More than that, you will probably need a special design for high fills.

The amount of surcharge or fill is also a function of the backfill quality. Backfill will 50 psi flowable fill or even with 2500 psi lean concrete will add to the available strength and allow deeper fills.
