Dear all,

I have a steam boiler that will be installed on a concrete pad. The steam boiler will weight with the hot water inside of it 13.2 tons.
the concrete pad dimensions are 2.4 m x 4.5 m. The thickness is 12 cm.
I would like to know the reinforcement of this pad, taking into account that there will be heat on this pad.
Any help?
thank you

Yes , definitely.................

... not NEARLY enough information provided.

What does the boiler manufacturer have to say about installation conditions, and requirements ?

Depends on the load distribution. Is the load from the boiler distributed to the slab through point loads (sitting on feet) or line loads (sitting on skids). Either way you need to size the reinforcement to distribute the weight over the required bearing area, which will depend on the subgrade modulus/bearing capacity. Your slab seems a little thin if you ask me, I would probably double it and consider doing a double mat of reinforcement. I'm not really sure on the heat thing, my initial thought would be to provide some additional cover over the top reinforcement.

thanks for the response
@Tmoose I don't have any installation conditions from the manufacturer.

@dnlv the boiler will be installed on a skid. Beneath this pad there is a mat foundation slab.
