concrete mix design for caissons how much is to much slag 1

Due to tight compettion, I would like to use a 20mpa footing mix with 40 or 50 % slag. for piles and caissons. Is this aking for trouble I would appreciate your opions on this. Thank - you .

That should not be an issue. Yes, the slag cement will cause a slower strength gain, but the caissons will not be loaded before they gain appropriate strength.
