hi all

we are in the process of looking into what upgrades, if any we would need to run NX Cam on an existing computer. i do not have the spec's for what we currently have but would like some feed back from any one as to what they would recommend.
our thoughts are to have a machine that has a lot of horsepower in the processing side and not so much in the graphics side.

I would not skimp on a good quality graphics card. Are you going to run IS&V or Vericut?
Lots of RAM is a must.

CPU speed is always needed.
RAM is always needed, especially for Vericut.
A good graphics card is still required for the visualization of your toolpath.

If you are doing complicated work, a multi-core with 16GB would be a start.
