Compute area between sets or materials in ABAQUS

Hello,

I have an abaqus model and I need to compute the shared surface area between every pair of sets (or materials). Is there a way to do this within ABAQUS CAE?

You can use the Query tools to obtain the areas of selected geometrical faces or mesh-based surfaces. If those are separate parts (not just partitions), the Find Contact Pairs tool will automatically find the touching surfaces.
