What is the typical acceleration time of semi hermetic reciprocating compressors & Scroll compressors? As the motor is internal to the compressors and the manufacturer do not mention these details in the datasheet. I require this information to set the short time settings of the MCCB.
I have already contacted the manufacturer about it but the manufacturer do not provide me with the required information.

These compressors have a net capacity of 1560 MBH, EER of 10.9 and operate at 460-480 Volts, 60 Hz

There are a lot of variables - motor rating, inertia, rpm. If possible, start with very wide settings, then start the motor to see what actual accel time is. If you have locked rotor and full load amps, you can have reasonable settings for the long time and instantaneous trip.

Just to verify - I assume these are starting across the line (full voltage start)?

Yes, It is across the voltage motor start.
