Hello everybody,

I'am afraid because my english is very bad...

I'm designer and I wish calculat all part of compresseur.

I found how modelise my assembly and my first results are ok. But on my assembly there aren't the gear, I just put the engin on the crankshaft.

How modelise the gear and the actions on the gear?

No simulate, but mede an dynamical analysis... I'm not sure that is the same... But I Try

Hi all,

I'm always on my problem. I tried to put a compressor gear, but ProE Mecanism stops analysis because I use parts without mass to made connections and to represent the engine gear. I think that it stops itself just because the engine gear is without mass. I just know his position, number of teeth, modulus... In fact I arrive to calculate the simplified forces on the pistons, on the con rod... The problem is on the crankshaft, because ProE Mecanism determines the forces on the front bearing and back bearing but doesn't take account of the gear forces on the crankshaft... Could you help me, please...
