hello everybody:

I´am working with atlas copco oil free air compressors, and I need to define the best method for disassembling an move of its main components, engine and compresion elements mainly. I think to prpopose them a hoist or a traveling crane according to the engine weight (350 HP/3000 pounds aprox.)

I know that I must have information of the supplier but I have not been able to obtain it yet, and my client doesn´t have any experience in these concerns.

Somebody have experiencie or information in these items?

Thanks in advanced

the manufacturer of equipment should willingly and readily provide the use all the maintenance and operation requirements of the equipment being furnished. obtaining this information should be as simple as calling the Mfg. and providing the Mfg with make, model, serial number, etc. of the equipment in question.

good luck!

You can find your Atlas Copco rep at: They will have the appropriate parts list and instruction manual for your Z compressor. Please remember that you will void the warranty if the work is not performed by a factory trained service technician, and that the oil free units are helically timed and take a little more expertise than a standard compressor.
Sincerely,
CompressorProfessor
