I am searching info on how to quantify the performance of a compressed air nozzle under 100 ft. of sea water, the purpose of which is to reduce soil friction/adhesion interaction between a huge steel object being sunked 80 ft. into dense sand/silt glacial formation. Input is 300 psi (air or steam), 4" feed pipe, say 1" nozzle with some kind of spring loaded needle valve to prevent plug ups. Spacing configuration and orientation is important because of the object size/weight ratio which limits the rate of sinking. Plan B is to use water jet if necessary. Appreciate input from experts. Thanks.
